This course aims to cultivate the following core competencies for students:
- Management decision-making skills (Bachelor’s program)
- Teamwork and communication coordination skills (Bachelor’s program)
- Information technology application and innovation skills (Bachelor’s program)
Course objectives:
This couse will introduce some fundamental knowledge and methods in information systems design, especially in the systems analysis and high level design phase.
This course will incorporate some essential project management concepts as entailed in PMP credentials.
Students will nurture the following core capabities in this course:
To cultivate students’ management and decision-making abilities.
To cultivate students’ teamwork, communication, and coordination abilities.
To cultivate students’ abilities in applying and innovating with information technology.

Teaching approach:
This course will be taught in Chinese, but there will be an optional arrangement to allocate some of the lecture time each week to teach in English. The optional arrangement will be determined by class participants in the first week’s class.
